This service consists of video consultation, during which we can offer guidance, support, and advice for those who have some idea of what design-related questions they want to get answered and are happy to “do the heavy lifting” themselves.

This service is geared towards providing answers to a specific set of questions. This is perfect for people who have the time, enjoy the process, and are ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. Having already thought through the area of focus will allow you to derive more value from the service. We can help you get past where you are stuck. We can help with the hard questions.

The cost of everything is going up. Home improvement takes a tremendous amount of time and energy. Consulting with us greatly improves your odds of getting it just right.

To maximize your time with us, we suggest the following:

• Write a list of all the questions you’d like answered.

• Inspiration images of things you like are helpful.

• Be ready to share with us photos of your space, any existing furniture pieces you are considering keeping, including the dimensions.

• Be prepared to share anything unique we should know about you and how you intend to use the space.

• If you have them, we’d love to see your mood boards or Pinterest boards.

• As much as you can send in advance of your call will help us to be ready to jump in.

Feel free to invite your contractor, architect, landscaper, family member or friend to join the call.

We can only do so much in an hour. Our suggestions will often require follow-up leg work. Some examples of what we might need more time to help with include:

• Confirming site-specific issues (a duct or vent in the way…)

• Providing precise measurements

• Personally ordering any items or overseeing any construction or fabrication

• Tangible design deliverables beyond guidance and support (such as CAD renderings or room mockups)
